Has anyone found a source for the door lock cyliners?
The handles seem to be Escort/Capri II but I only need the lock parts.
Surely there is a supplier of generic lock cylinders somewhere?

Try searching on fleabay for "ford Cortina door lock barrels"

I found quite a few, and I think they are the same as the Capri ones, unless anyone knows differently?

Agree with Glen, Capri fits. Try the Capri club for possible source of new/remanufactured? I got two complete handles with keys off ebay a bit ago for relatively little...building up my spares stock!

Thanks for that.
Looks as though Cortina III is the same. Capri club have nothing so I guess I'll keep scanning the bay.

Looking at the keys depicted in those listings, they are all the later type ( post-1982 ) round section. Later versions had coding chips moulded into them.

The listings say 1970-82 barrels, these should use the flat double-sided Ford keys.
I would advise that you raise the question with the vendor about which type they are actually selling.

The Cortina III are correct too.
The parts are:
D-18-107 RHS door barrel
D-18-108 LHS door barrel
Common to all 3

If you're changing the door lock barrels that implies you'll need new keys - are you planning to change the ignition switch to match?
